Leo Carrillo Beach Camping - Fri 3/15/24 - 3/17/24

2024 Summer Camp - Camp Whitsett July 2024 TBD
We are heading back to Camp Whitsett for a week of swimming, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, archery, rifle and shotgun shooting, and crafts. There will be plenty of merit badge classes and rank advancement opportunities. Camp Whitsett Forest Rte 22S82, Kernville, CA 93238. Scouts can also sign up for either a 1/2 day or full-day of Whitewater rafting along the Kern River.

Event Canceled will Reschedule to Later Date - Climbing & Repelling Day Event - Sat 12/2/23 12pm-2pm
We are heading over to Roc Creation for some climbing and repelling. Parents will need to drive their scouts to and from the event. The fee is $30 per Scout to be paid at the facility. Pinz Bowling Day Event - Sat 11/18/23 1:00 pm
Scouts are heading out for a day of bowling at Pinz Bowling. Scouts are encouraged to invite friends who may want to join the troop or just come to see what we are about! All scouts should wear their class B t-shirts. Everyone will be responsible for their own shoe rental. We will split the cost of the lanes between everyone. Trunk or Treat First United Methodist Church - Mon 10/30/23 4pm-6:00pm
Join us as we set up Troop 18 spooky camping trunk at this years 2023 FUMC Trunk or Treat. We will be decorating, setting up and giving out candy.
Day of Service at Club 21 Walk - Sat 10/21/23 8:30am-1:30pm
We are heading out to volunteer at Club 21's annual Together is Better Walk. Our troop will be manning the Frisbee painting booth. This is a good opportunity to earn some service hours. Central Park 275 S. Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105.
Verdugo Oaks Camporee - Fri 10/13/23 - Sun 10/15/23
Camporee is a Council-wide annual event designed to emphasize the patrol method, allow Scouts to put their outdoor skills to use, and test how well patrols work together while competing against other Scout patrols. Teamwork is essential for success! Verdugo Hills Council and the Campo de Cahuenga District-WLACC are hosting "Quest for Indy" Camporee 2023. Competitions include Air Rifle, Action Archery, Mine Cart Lashing, Map & Compass, Tomahawk throwing and other challenging events. We will meet at the Scout Hut on Friday 10/13/23 at 4:30 pm. We will be helping Noah who will be refurbishing and reorganizing the drama room and a storage container at John Burroughs High School. In addition, Noah will be constructing a ramp to transport costume racks and props to and from the stage, as well as a shelf to store props used in the class daily. Noah is also raising funds to cover the materials for the ramp and prop storage, and cleaning supplies for his project. As well as for food for the volunteers. If you wish to donate please do so via Venmo @Noah-Castiel or by check to Troop 18. To Volunteer to help Noah with his project stop by anytime this weekend, Sat-Sun, 10/7-10/8, between 9AM-4PM. The location of his project is John Burroughs High School - Drama Room 1920 W Clark Ave, Burbank, CA 91506. Enter through the gate on N. Keystone Street. If the gate is not open please enter through the door labeled Artist Entrance and go through the choir room towards the Drama Room. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome and appreciated!
