Weekend Pix and BOR Info

Man…….What an awesome weekend in the woods.  Hats off to all the Dads
who came out and helped make this weekend so great.  Mr. Parker rallied his
Communi MB Troops into a sweet and very somber rendition of a Flag
retirement ceremony. And 17 11/12′s year old Jack Garrard made it there and
gave a heartfelt invocation to complete his Communi MB and keep his Eagle
ambition alive!!!  Mr. Keeler organized the older scout’s Conservation
Project for Camping MB, and the scouts all enjoyed that.  Mr. Putt paid us a
visit on Saturday night, and we enjoyed his company.  And Mr. Higginbotham
came out this morning to help get the Troops back home.  For those that
could not join us this weekend, let me just say that you’ve really never
enjoyed life to the fullest if you haven’t watched 2 College football games,
a cool movie, and the OT of the South Panola game in the woods, at
CentCom(Central Command), in front of a roaring fire, with 40 of your
closest friends.  On a serious note, this was a real good weekend.
Absolutely no “bullying” or behavior problems.  When I checked Campsites at
10:30 every night, if found 100% of the scouts bedded down and hunkered in
against the cold.  They had a blast!!!

Weekend Lost and Found……1 fleece lined Child’s Large Blue jacket with a
circular “Ole Miss” sticker over the right Chest and a pair of children’s
“Stihl” work gloves.  Come and get it!!!
